Free design is a practice developed by the Entropie Laboratory. The Laboratory aims to democratise the technique by removing the abstract nature of objects that surround us. All of the objects that we develop are the subject of documentation that is distributed for free, so that other people can access it. We take the risk of creating alternative forms of production that are based on mutual aid, collaboration and the free circulation of knowledge. We have researched the new issues facing society that underlie this practice, and we disseminate this research in the form of lectures and publications.
